With an impressive CV, Xavi began his coaching career at Al Sadd, in Qatar, where he won several titles. He then returned to Barcelona, where, in the 2022-2023 season, he won La Liga, demonstrating his ability to lead an elite team. His approach to the game is based on principles that he considers fundamental, such as ball possession and high pressing, characteristics that have made him one of the most complete midfielders in the history of football.
The Netherlands team, which has never won a World Cup but has been a finalist on three occasions, has high expectations surrounding its new coach. Xavi will have the task of transforming a team that was defensive into one that plays with style and efficiency.
