Vítor Pereira's time in charge of Nottingham Forest has ended. In a long message published on his social networks, the Portuguese coach confirmed his departure from the English club, revealing that he learned of the administration's decision without any prior notice. His successor should be Oliver Glasner, who is about to take on the responsibility left by the Portuguese coach. "Today my journey as coach of Nottingham Forest ends", began Pereira. "This decision took me completely by surprise and without any warning, but I fully respect the club's right to make the choices it thinks are best for its future." The coach did not hide his bitterness over an unexpected separation, despite claiming the work done in recent months. "I'm disappointed and sad, because I really believed in the project we were building together. I leave with great pride for what we managed to achieve." Pereira recalled the results obtained during his management: "We managed to stay in the Premier League, we reached the semi-finals of the Europa League and we experienced moments that I will always carry with me.
