After having already reached an agreement to sign Mateus Fernandes, from West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur is now interested in also securing the services of Crysencio Summerville. Spurs have already strengthened their defense with the free transfers of Andy Robertson, from Liverpool, and Marco Senesi, from Bournemouth, as well as goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, who transferred from Burnley. Centre-back Jean Paul van Hecke is also set to join the team from Brighton.

According to Give Me Sports, De Zerbi is very interested in Summerville to provide healthy competition for Mathys Tel on the left flank of the attack. The Italian manager is particularly impressed with the 24-year-old's dribbling skills as well as his work ethic, believing the West Ham athlete would fit well into his vision for the team. In the 2025–26 season, Summerville made a total of 34 appearances for the Hammers, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
