Well-known goalkeeper Sergio Pésyakov shared a memory about a gift from former Anzhi owner Sulaiman Kerimov. — A player from the Qatar national team, who scored a goal and secured a draw, was offered 3 million dollars and a Rolls-Royce. Can you remember the biggest awards of your career? — I can remember it immediately. This happened during my time at Anzhi, where I was on loan for six months. I don't know if I can tell you, but I'll tell you (smiles). We played against Spartak and won 2-1 away from home. I had a good performance. My wife had our daughter two or three days after the game. Good thing it wasn't at the stadium. It could have happened, if we are honest (laughs) . I received a call from Sulaiman Kerimov: he congratulated me on the victory and the birth of his daughter. And he transferred a very, very large sum to celebrate her birth. That gift was around 50 thousand euros, if I'm not mistaken. No one has given me gifts like this before. My wife and I always fondly remember that time and that present (laughs)," said Pésyakov in an interview with Championship correspondent Ilya Nikulnikov.
