The connection between Rome and Bologna heats up in the final days of the transfer window. According to an excerpt quoted by Il Resto del Carlino, the Giallorossi, along with several German teams, will be in the race for Remo Freuler, with the Swiss midfielder nearing the end of his contract.
It is not, however, the only dossier on the table. Roma have established contacts for Castro and Ferguson, two valued players in Bologna and who are being closely monitored. In parallel, Marash Kumbulla, returning after a loan to Mallorca and set to leave the Italian capital, could be included in conversations between the two clubs.
On Bologna's side, there is interest in young Ghilardi, a target who could gain relevance if Jhon Lucumí leaves the Rossoblù squad.
Negotiations are taking place at a fast pace with the closing of the market approaching, but, for now, with no agreement reached between the parties.
