Antoine Kombouaré's time at Paris FC has come to an end. The French coach terminated the contract that tied him to the club until 2027, paving the way for the arrival of his successor, Liam Rosenior, whose official status is expected in the next few hours.
Kombouaré took over the team on 22 February, replacing Stéphane Gilli, and quickly changed the face of newly promoted Paris FC. Under his guidance, the Parisian team recorded high-impact triumphs, including victories over Monaco (4-1) and Paris Saint-Germain (2-1), concluding the season in 11th place in Ligue 1.
The former PSG, Lens, Valenciennes and Nantes coach's report is clearly positive: in 11 games, he recorded six wins, three draws and only two defeats, relaunching the club's ambitions.
With Kombouaré's departure, Paris FC is preparing to hand the team over to Liam Rosenior. The 41-year-old English coach is expected to sign a two-season contract, with the option for a third, starting a new cycle with the aim of consolidating the club's permanence in the French top division.
