The Bundesliga occupies second place, with 101 players, followed by La Liga with 82, Ligue 1 with 81 and Serie A with 66. The Saudi Pro League has 46 squads, while the MLS and the Turkish Super League have 43 players each. The English Championship is represented by 37 players and the Dutch Eredivisie by 34. The 2026 World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, between June 11th and July 19th. Previous information indicated that the World Cup games could be interrupted due to lightning.
