Coach Filippo Inzaghi could reunite next season with a player he had under his guidance during his time at Pisa. This is midfielder Marius Marin, who left the Tuscan club at the end of the season after a long stay of eight years with the Nerazzurro emblem, due to the end of his contract and the desire not to renew it.
According to TuttoPalermo.net, sporting director Carlo Osti placed Marin on the list of possible midfield reinforcements, at the request of Inzaghi himself, who considers him an ideal element to guarantee balance in the sector, especially with the possible change to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 system. Furthermore, the Romanian international is already familiar with the coach's tactical ideas.
Marin has extensive experience in Serie B, with over 200 appearances, and won promotion in the 2024/25 season.
