Florentino Pérez will present this Wednesday, at 7 pm, at the Meliá Castilla hotel, his project for the elections for the presidency of Real Madrid, which, in the absence of official confirmation, should take place on June 7th at the club's facilities in Valdebebas. The club's current president, in office since 2009 after a previous stint from 2000 to 2006, will outline the main lines of his candidacy, under the motto 'Lots of history to be made'. Last week, Florentino's candidacy displayed a banner on a building in Praça dos Sagrados Corações, next to the Bernabéu, remembering the seven European Cups won by the club under his leadership, from 2002 in Glasgow to 2024 in London. Sporting successes (66 titles) will be one of Florentino's main electoral weapons, which has guided the club to the best phase of its 124-year history. However, the memories of the blank season that has just ended, from the dismissal of Xabi Alonso to his replacement by Álvaro Arbeloa, and the tensions revealed in the dressing room, with the incident between Valverde and Tchouaméni as the most popular, will be present. The choice of a successor for Arbeloa will be another strong point in Florentino's candidacy, who already has an agreement with José Mourinho for his return to Real Madrid 13 years after his departure. Big names are also expected in the signing section, despite Florentino and his management trusting the Mbappé-Vinicius-Bellingham trident as their

There will, of course, be important reinforcements in the defensive lines (with the departures of Carvajal and Alaba already confirmed) and in the midfield, considered by those who manage the sporting part as the team's main gap in the last two seasons.
