Kaiki Bruno da Silva urged Como fans to expect a lot of determination and passion following his loan move to the Série A side from Cruzeiro on Thursday. The left-back will join Cesc Fabregas' squad for the 2026-27 season, with a reported loan value of €2 million, with the obligation to become a permanent signing at the end of the season for a further €12 million. The Brazilian, who has made 129 appearances for Cruzeiro in all competitions since his debut in 2021, scored two goals and registered 12 assists. During the current Série A season in Brazil, which is paused for the World Cup, Kaiki created 18 opportunities, only surpassed by Matheus Pereira, who created 52 for Cruzeiro. He joins a Como team preparing to make their Champions League debut, and Kaiki is eager to shine on the big stage. "I'm very happy to be here, in a fantastic city and at a great club. I can't wait to get started," said Kaiki. "This is a project that has fascinated me since the beginning, and I think being able to express myself in an environment like this is very important for me. Club. The 23-year-old left-back will join the club on loan with an obligation to buy, bringing speed, intensity and... Kaiki is Como's fourth addition this season. Álvaro Morata made his loan from the previous season permanent, whilst Andrés Cuenca and Luis Milla also joined the club. "Kaiki is a modern full-back, with speed, energy and courage to advance," Fabregas told the Como website. "He has the physical ability to repeat movements, defend with intensity and give the team width in possession. He is still young, but he has already played important matches in Brazil and South America, and his call-up to the national team demonstrates the level of his development. We believe he has the qualities to grow in our style of play, and we are happy to welcome him to Como." Como begin their Serie A campaign away to Udinese on 22 August before returning to the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on 13 September to face Bologna.
