Now, after the surprising decision by Liverpool's board to release Slot, Van Dijk continues to support his compatriot. "We will never forget that together we won the Premier League in our first year together. Thank you, coach. And I wish you and your family the best in the future," the defender wrote on Instagram. Slot's future is uncertain, but rumors are already emerging linking him to AC Milan, although it is not yet known how serious they are.
