A delegation of architects from Studio Gensler carried out, yesterday, a technical visit to the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium, in Verona, as part of the process that could lead to the construction of a new Hellas Verona venue in the area where the historic stadium now stands.

This is an important step that confirms the entry of the dossier into a decisive phase and the intention of the Veronese property to entrust the project to internationally renowned professionals. The objective is to build a stadium that will be the home of Hellas in the coming decades and that, in parallel, can also host games for Euro 2032, a competition that Italy will organize in partnership with Turkey.

Founded in 1985, in San Francisco, Studio Gensler is one of the most reputable architecture firms in the world, with offices in 53 cities in 17 countries. In the sports infrastructure portfolio, the company signed projects such as the Corinthians Arena (São Paulo), the BMO Stadium (Los Angeles), the Chase Center (San Francisco), the Q2 Stadium (Austin) and the modern Snapdragon Stadium (San Diego). Equipment that, in addition to being a sports stage, became centers of attraction, coexistence and economic development in the respective cities.

The presence of the architects in Verona is, therefore, a clear sign of the progress of work on the new Bentegodi and of the club's ambitions to provide a modern, functional stadium that can be lived in beyond match days, throughout the year.
