Stade Rennais is active in the market aiming to return to European competitions and has Bryan Reynolds, 24-year-old right-back from KVC Westerlo, as a priority target. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Breton team has already presented a proposal of 3.8 million euros for the United States international.
Reynolds, who has played seven games and scored one goal for the North American team, is entering the final year of his contract with Westerlo and has attracted interest from several clubs. The defender arrived at the Belgian club in 2023, coming from AS Roma.
Last season, the full-back played 40 official matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists. Since moving to Belgium, he has made 146 appearances for clubs across all competitions.
It remains to be seen whether the €3.8 million offer will be enough to convince Westerlo to negotiate. For now, Rennes are looking to add depth and competition to the right side of the defense, in a summer in which they intend to strengthen the squad to face the European calendar.
