Ruben Amorim is about to become Milan coach. The coach, who has already worked with Braga, Sporting CP and Manchester United, accepted the two-year contract with the option for a third that was offered to him by Diavolo. According to information gathered by our editors, the 41-year-old coach will sign this week and join the Rossoneri, with the hope of having a better season than the previous one. The Portuguese, who was left without a club after being fired in January by United, outperformed Jaissle, who is still linked to Al Ahli, and whose release would require paying a clause of 10-11 million euros. Milan decided on Amorim, and the coach himself is very convinced, he rejected other proposals, such as that from Benfica, and expressed his desire to start over in Serie A with the Rossoneri. However, while the coaching position appears to be almost confirmed, Milan will still have to wait a little longer to define the position of sporting director. In the last few hours, Markus Krosche, current sporting director at Eintracht Frankfurt, seemed to be close to an agreement. However, Mathias Beck, president of the German club's supervisory board, told Bild that, from AC Milan, there was no contact regarding Markus Krosche. And we, as Eintracht's executive committee, after speaking with Markus Krosche, have no sign that he wants to leave Eintracht before his contract expires in 2028.
