Paris Saint-Germain were crowned champions of the Champions League by defeating Arsenal in the final and closed the European season with almost 150 million euros in prizes. In total, Luis Enrique's team totaled €149.92 million thanks to the combination of participation values, the Pillar of Value, the bonuses from the league phase and the successive qualifiers until victory in the decisive game.
More than a third of this amount arrived even before the qualifiers: R$18.62 million for registration/participation and R$44.00 million allocated through the Value Pillar — a component defined by UEFA based on performance history and audiences, the final value of which is announced at a later stage.
In the new league phase, PSG won four games and drew two; the bonuses from this stage, including the bonus for 11th position and classification for the access round, yielded R$19.8 million. The move to the round of 16, by eliminating AS Monaco, added €11 million. In the quarter-finals, the victory over Chelsea was worth €12.5 million. This was followed by the eliminations of Liverpool (15 M€, semi-finals) and Bayern Munich (18.5 M€, presence in the final). The final victory against Arsenal added another €6.5 million. Guaranteed presence in the European Super Cup yields €4.0 million, while an eventual triumph against Europa League winners Aston Villa would add a further €1 million.
In total, Arsenal raised €143.22 million from their journey to the final of this edition of the Champions League.
