One of the central arguments was Atlético's inability to truly fight for the title in a season seen as “cheaper” than normal. Despite finishing in the Champions League, the competitive feeling was far less than expected.
At Athletic Club, the verdict was even heavier: an average of 2.25, reflecting the irregularity shown throughout the season.
At the opposite pole, Barcelona and Villarreal stand out, both with a rating of 9.5 and praised for their offensive power. Regarding Barça, there was a consensus that they only needed to reach 100 points to reach 10. “For me, 10 was 100 points,” said Miguel Quintana, classifying the Blaugrana as the most reliable team in the championship due to their regularity and scoring ability. Villarreal also received praise for their consistency: Nahuel Miranda even gave 10 and highlighted that “there was no fight for the fourth square”, such was the superiority demonstrated by the Castellonenses.
Among the big positive surprises, Levante received a notable 8.75 after securing their stay with the lowest budget in the league. Álex de Llano highlighted “one of the great stories we live in the contemporary League”, highlighting the repercussion of Luis Castro’s arrival at the bank. Getafe also shone and earned top marks from Álex de Llano: “It’s the only 10 I have”, confessed the commentator.
At the bottom of the ratings table, Mallorca was left at 1.75 after confirming their relegation, while Girona were severely penalized for their dramatic end to the season.
