Parma confirmed Giovanni Valenti's continued leadership of its women's team. After the renewals of Carlos Cuesta in the main team and Nicola Corrent in the under-19 formation had already been announced, the Parma club announced today that Valenti will continue leading the women, after a season that ended with a peaceful salvation.
The confirmation was made through the club's social networks, which read: "Giovanni Valenti and Parma Calcio still together". The coach arrived at the team last season from Serie B side Brescia and will remain in the role despite the arrival of a new sporting director, Marco Zwingauer, from Napoli Women. The new manager decided to keep Valenti, who will try to guarantee the team's salvation in advance and, possibly, raise expectations in relation to last season.
