Fans who already have some experience remember the turbulent Real Madrid elections in 2006, where we managed, as Arturo Baldasano's legal team, to annul the much talked about postal vote. Then, we remember the phase in which D. Ramón Calderón presided over Real Madrid and then D. Vicente Boluda. We have fought hard since the Regeneration of Real Madrid to be able to annul the agreements of the commitment meeting of December 7, 2008 in the courts and to achieve the objective of calling new elections. As we all know, in May 2009, Florentino Pérez was elected President of Real Madrid. I am not suspected of being a supporter of Florentino in 2009, but it is wise to recognize mistakes and, in 2026, I can only admit that the work we have done since the Real Madrid Regeneration in 2008 and 2009 has undoubtedly been for the glory of the club. Florentino Pérez has been the best President in the history of football, winning national and international titles in a world with an exceptional football level, in a Europe where multimillionaire investors injected billions into their clubs. In this context, Florentino Pérez transformed Real Madrid into the best football club in the world and the best basketball team in Europe. Alongside D. José Ángel Sánchez, D. Manuel Redondo, D. Eduardo Fernández de Blas and the other members of its Board, Real Madrid has surpassed itself year after year, leaving everyone amazed. Furthermore, it included D. Donato González in its Board, a man I have known for many years and who I consider an excellent reinforcement for our Real Madrid. I don't doubt the good intentions of Dom Enrique Riquelme, and I even applaud him for his courage in running for election to make himself known among the fans, but Madrid fans must not forget our experiences in the 21st century without Florentino Pérez and which is preferable: “extraordinary known than good to know”. By their actions they will know them. Florentino Pérez has made Real Madrid bring joy to its fans this century on countless occasions. We must take advantage of the June 7, 2026 elections to show our gratitude and not think that because he will win, my vote is not necessary. On the contrary, if the President, who is almost 80 years old, continues to be motivated to lead Real Madrid to glory over the next 4 years, we, the partners of Real Madrid, have an obligation to go to the polls and say: We are with you.
