Hot days at Casa Milan: after a long wait, which worried many Rossoneri fans, the definition of the two most important positions in the club's sporting structure is moving forward. According to sources, Gerry Cardinale, who controls the Rossoneri club through RedBird, has decided to appoint Ralf Rangnick as technical director and Oliver Glasner as coach. Despite statements by the head of the Austrian federation, who stated that "Rangnick will choose us", both he and the former Crystal Palace coach are excited about Milan's project and are expected to sign the contracts as soon as they are presented. Fundamental to Cardinale's choice and decision was the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former Swedish champion, who is currently in North America as a commentator for Fox Sports, defended other options for coaching and, for this reason, could see his influence on Milan's sporting structure diminish in the future.
