Jadon Sancho's career at Manchester United had few standout moments. Signed for £73m in the summer of 2021 on a weekly salary of around £200,000, it's fair to say that Sancho hasn't exactly provided a good return on investment. From June 30, he will be a free agent following confirmation of United's retained players list, joining Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia. Yves Bissouma, who joined Tottenham Hotspur for £25 million from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022, is another player who, after considerable investment, is now looking for a new club.

For Manchester United, Sancho and defender Tyrell Malacia, both 26 years old, join Casemiro, the 34-year-old player who was signed from Real Madrid for 60 million pounds in 2022, on the list of departures from Old Trafford. Sancho's last appearance for United was in the Community Shield in August 2024, where he missed a penalty in United's defeat to Manchester City.
Central defender Dermot Mee, a 23-year-old academy graduate, has been offered a new contract, while Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe are leaving the club.
At Everton, Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye is in negotiations for a new contract as the 36-year-old's contract is expiring. Everton have confirmed the departure of 37-year-old club captain Seamus Coleman after 17 years at the club. Academy players Jacob Beaumont-Clark, Kingsford Boakye, Roman Dixon, Bradley Moonan, Francis Okoronkwo, Tyler Onyango and Reece Welch will also leave.
Malian midfielder Bissouma, 29, will leave Tottenham after four years, having made just 11 Premier League appearances this season. Tottenham also confirmed that 33-year-old left-back Ben Davies has signed a one-year contract to extend his 12-year stay in London. Youngsters Pele Arganese-McDermott, Tyrell Ashcroft, Leo Black, Dante Cassanova, Matthew Craig and Calum Logan were released.
Liverpool have confirmed that 27-year-old Ibrahima Konate, 33-year-old Mohamed Salah and 32-year-old Andy Robertson are leaving the club, with the latter's move to Tottenham announced last week. Defender Rhys Williams, 25, will also leave Anfield, along with youngsters Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, James Balagizi, DJ Bernard, Oakley Cannonier, Josh Davidson, Terence Miles and Jacob Poytress.
French goalkeeper Illan Meslier, who joined Leeds in August 2019, will also leave the club after losing his position to Welshman Karl Darlow and summer signing Lucas Perri this season. Academy players Esapa Osong, Ben Hammond, Alfie Bradshaw, Danny Anisjko, Shae Cahill, Cormac Daly and Owen Grainger will also leave the club.
Bournemouth have offered contract extensions to veteran goalkeeper Fraser Forster, 38, and defender Marcos Senesi, 29, but, as reported by Athletic, Senesi is in talks with Tottenham. Youngsters Noa Bouti, Zhaviah Campbell, Ashley Clarke, James Davies, Hayden McGhan, Ollie Morgan, Koby Mottoh, Malachi Ogunleye, Charlie Osborne and Benjamin Purches will also leave.
Fulham, in addition to losing manager Marco Silva this summer, saw last season's second top scorer, Raul Jimenez, released and return to Wolverhampton Wanderers. As reported by Athletic, Wales winger Harry Wilson – last season's top scorer – could join him, but Fulham have put forward a contract proposal to keep him. Steven Benda, Devan Tanton, Bradley De Jesus, Ollie Gofford, Charlie Robinson, Joseph Walters, Tom Wingate, Callum Cliff, Marcell Hall, Ruban Khan, Oliver Mayer, Harley Plate and Quinn Schutter will also leave the club along with Jimenez.
UEFA Europa Conference League winners Crystal Palace are in talks with 35-year-old right-back Nathaniel Clyne and 29-year-old midfielder Daichi Kamada over their futures as the club move closer to appointing Pierre Sage as Lens coach. Youngsters Asher Agbinone, Rylan Brownlie, Matteo Dashi, Craig Farquhar, Jake Grante, Jackson Izquierdo, Zach Marsh, David Obou, Aziz Ouedraogo, Dylan Reid, Kaden Rodney, Jemiah Umolu, Jack Mason, Joshua Muwana, Zack Henry, Stuart Oduro and Harry Whitworth will be released.
Premier League champions Arsenal have announced that a number of their academy players will leave the club at the end of the month. Sam Chapman, Harrison Dudziak, Seb Ferdinand, Cam’ron Ismail, Will Lannin-Sweet, Josh Nichols, Samuel Onyekachukwu and Alexéi Rojas Fedorushchenko will leave. Newcastle United will see left-back Matt Targett leave after spending last season on loan at Championship playoff finalists Middlesbrough – accumulating just 47 appearances during his four years on Tyneside. Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale's loan from Southampton will expire, while fellow goalkeepers John Ruddy and Max Thompson are leaving the club, with 34-year-old Mark Gillespie staying for another season.
Coventry City will see midfielder Jamie Allen, who played 25 times in his side's march to the Championship title, among seven departures from the first team with Brad Collins, Conrad Ambursley, Charlie Finney, Jack James, Greg Sandiford Junior and Kai Yearn. Loan players Carl Rushworth, Romain Esse and Yang Min-hyeok returned to their parent clubs.
Ipswich Town will see the end of Conor Chaplin's five-year stay at Portman Road after the 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side Portsmouth.
Hull City, winners of the Championship playoffs, will release 22-year-old midfielder Harry Vaughan, who spent this season on loan at Bohemians, and extend the contract of 24-year-old goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright for another season. Loan players Toby Collyer, Joe Gelhardt, Amir Hadziahmetovic, Yu Hirakawa, Lewis Koumas and John Lundstram will also leave, with seven young players leaving the club.
Brentford have announced the departures of their academy, with Marley Tavaziva, Gregory Asemokhai, Max McKnight, Kyrie Pierre, Michael McSorley, Staitham Bowen and Yerime Ouattara. The departures of the first team are yet to come.
Sunderland, who have secured European football for the first time in 45 years, will see four first-team players, including 24-year-old former captain Dan Neil, leave the Stadium of Light. Neil made over 200 appearances for the club but spent the second half of this season on loan at Ipswich Town, helping them to promotion to the Premier League. Full-backs Dennis Cirkin, 24, and Niall Huggins, 25, as well as former Aston Villa and Chelsea winger Bertrand Traore, who spent the season on Wearside, will also leave. Sunderland remain in negotiations with Dutch defender Lutsharel Geertruida over a new contract. Under-21 players Oliver Bainbridge, Marshall Burke, Dan Cameron, Thomas Lavery, Elias Lenz, Ethan Moore, Adam Richardson, Rhys Walsh, Jake Waters, Ivan Struk and George Bell will also leave the club this summer.
