Mario Gila is on the list of players to leave Lazio. The defender, who has been a key player in Maurizio Sarri's team, is expected to leave the club in the next transfer window. Gila, who suffered a knee and ankle injury that limited his appearances between February and May, participated in 36 games throughout the season, totaling 2,919 minutes between Serie A and Coppa Italia. Napoli, under the command of Massimiliano Allegri, appears to be one of the main interested parties in the player. Allegri, who must be officially introduced as the team's coach, is an admirer of Gila's talent and intends to have him next season. However, the negotiation could be complicated, as Lazio president Claudio Lotito is not willing to give in. Although Gila's contract is in place until June 2027, Lotito has set a price of €30 million and this figure is unlikely to be negotiable, as reported by today's edition of Corriere dello Sport.
