Juventus are accelerating to secure Alexander Sorloth. According to Sky Sport, Luciano Spalletti has already approved the possible deal for the Atlético de Madrid striker, who, in turn, also opened the door to the sale.
Last week, members of the Bianconera structure traveled to Oslo, Norway, where they met with the player's entourage to assess costs and the viability of the operation. The indications collected were considered very positive.
Sorloth earns around 6 million euros gross per season, a salary bar that Juventus can — and intends — to support to reinforce the attack. There has also been a first direct contact with the player himself, who left a good impression in Turin.
The possible arrival of the Norwegian international is not, for now, an alternative to the Kolo Muani track. The intention of Comolli and the rest of those responsible for the market is to sign two reinforcements for the attacking front in this transfer window.
During his club career, Sorloth played for Atlético de Madrid, Real Sociedad, Trabzonspor, Groningen, Villarreal, RB Leipzig, Bodø/Glimt, Midtjylland, Gent, Crystal Palace and Rosenborg. He has played 71 games for Norway, with 26 goals, and has a Turkish Cup and a Danish championship on his resume. The current contract is valid until June 30, 2028, that is, for another two years.
