According to the British press, Wouter Vrancken is very close to becoming the new coach of Heart of Midlothian. The 47-year-old coach, who left St. Truiden after leading the club to 3rd place in the Belgian Pro League, has already been interviewed by “Jambos”, as well as Maarten Martens (ex-AZ) and René Hake (with experience in the technical structures of Feyenoord and Manchester United).
In the market, Lyon is in talks with Hearts for Claudio Braga. The Tynecastle outfit are hoping to earn around £8.6m for the 26-year-old Portuguese striker, with other indications pointing to a demand of between £8m and £10m.
At Ibrox, Rangers are expected to demand around £20m for Nicolas Raskin this summer. The 25-year-old Belgian midfielder is followed by clubs in the Premier League, Serie A and Super Lig.
Still in the movement section, Tottenham authorized a new loan for Mikey Moore, an 18-year-old winger. Rangers are hoping to secure a return to Ibrox despite interest from teams in the Championship and other European markets.
Meanwhile, defender Michael Steinwender, currently at Hearts, is in talks for a possible transfer to Bochum, with the Scots looking to fit in with the investment made 18 months ago.
