VfB Stuttgart announced, this Tuesday, the renewal of Deniz Undav's contract until 2029, with an option for another season. The German striker, born in 1996, is currently on training with the German national team.
The German club praised the forward's impact last season, marked by decisive goals and assists for the team's excellent campaign.
In reaction to the new relationship, Undav was pleased to continue his career in Stuttgart, thanking the management for their trust and the support of the fans. "I'm very happy to continue my path in Stuttgart; this early renewal means a lot to me. The club and the city have become a second home and I want to repay them on the field with goals and good performances", he said, also highlighting his ambition to "achieve great goals" with a team that makes him "improve every day".
The striker also left a word for the fans, who he described as “incredible”, guaranteeing his desire to celebrate more successes with the VfB shirt in the coming years.
