Enrique Cerezo has addressed the future of Julián Álvarez, sending a clear message that the player will remain part of Atlético next season. "Julián Álvarez is an Atlético de Madrid player and not only for this past season, but for many others", said the rojiblanco president. In this sense, he made it clear that the summer market will end up strengthening the team. "We continually work to bring the best players to our club. And until August, when the League starts, there is plenty of time to search, see and bring", he explained, after participating in the International Workshop, Sport in the global context of ICAD.
"We had a very good season and we are really in a position to prepare for the next one. As transfer events occur, we will communicate them", he added about the strategy followed by Atlético. In addition to the team's current affairs, Cerezo also addressed other topics, starting with the Bad Bunny shows that are putting the Metropolitano in the world's spotlight. "It's an example of the globality of the world of sport, which develops all these areas", he commented. Likewise, he referred to the proposal that Enrique Riquelme plans for Real Madrid with his partner city. "All clubs will end up being part of the context of leisure, sport, entertainment and industry. Sport is also tourism and many other things, and all of this together is what makes the spectator enjoy it", he explained.
