Davide Ancelotti was made official this Monday as Lille's new coach. The French club confirmed the arrival of the 36-year-old Italian coach, who signed a two-year contract. After his first experience as a head coach in Brazil, working for Botafogo, this will be his solo debut in European football, after long years as an assistant alongside his father, Carlo Ancelotti, at teams such as Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Napoli and Everton, as well as a stint with the Brazilian national team.
In Italy, Como's sporting director, Carlalberto Ludi, analyzed on Radio Anch'Io Sport the “historic” season of Cesc Fàbregas' team, crowned with qualification for the Champions League. "They called it a sporting miracle, but I don't completely agree. A miracle is not based on quality, competence, hard work and culture.
