There was no shortage of familiar faces at the presentation of Florentino Pérez's candidacy for the presidency of Real Madrid. In front of a packed house, Ronaldo Nazário and Roberto Carlos stood out among those present, in a true outpouring of support for the now candidate.
After Florentino's opening speech, the two former players entered to a loud ovation and took to the stage accompanied by another well-known figure in the Merengue universe, Santiago Solari. The one who didn't go up, although he let himself be seen, was JAS.
Already on stage, and while Florentino received the affection of the room, Ronaldo grabbed the microphone and left a direct message to the former president during his time as a player at the club: "Presi, you are the best and you will always be the best". The phrase brought laughter from the audience and from Florentino himself. The Madrid leader even tried to get Roberto Carlos to speak, but the Brazilian chose to hide behind Solari to avoid the microphone.
The event ended with Florentino visiting two adjacent rooms, where there were more members who were unable to find a place in the main room, due to the large turnout.
