Burton Albion have announced the signing of defender Curtis Tilt, who joins from Bradford City, on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Tilt, 34, has played more than 300 games for clubs including Blackpool, Salford City and Rotherham United, and won the League One title with Wigan Athletic in 2022. He also represented Jamaica on two occasions in 2021 and made 32 appearances last season for Bradford City. Curtis Tilt previously worked with Burton manager Gary Bowyer at Blackpool during the 2017-18 season, and Bowyer stated on the club's website: "He will bring leadership to the group. With his personality, there is no doubt he will bring a lot of character to our dressing room."
