Barcelona have established themselves as authoritative LaLiga champions, and their dominance in the national tournament is being reflected in the voting for the awards given out by the organization. The team is present in four of the five categories, leading in all of them. The deadline for choosing the best for the 2025-2026 season is not yet over: it will close in five days.
LaLiga awards five awards: Best player, best stoppage, best coach, best under-23 and best goal. With the exception of the last one, in the first four there are candidates from Barcelona, who are currently leading the votes. Fans' preferences weigh 30% in the final decision, while the rest is divided between the LaLiga expert committee, with 40%, and the team captains, who hold the remaining 30%.
The award for best coach is being contested by Flick, Marcelino and Bordalás, with the culé coach accumulating more than 80% of the almost 34 thousand votes already cast. For the best player of the season award, Lamine, Mbappé, Muriqi, Fornals and Nicolás Pépé compete. The Barcelona winger occupies first place, with 62% of the votes. When it comes to the best under-23, Fermín also has an advantage over the other nominees: Arda Güler, Alberto Moleiro, Víctor Muñoz and Carlos Espí, boasting 53%.
Joan García, Oblak and Unai Simón are the three candidates for the best stop of the year, with the Catalan leading the fans' preferences for now, with almost 70% of the votes for his intervention in Pere Milla in the RCDE Stadium derby.
In the only category in which there is no Barcelona protagonist, the best goal, the finalists are Güler (for his goal against Elche at the Bernabéu), Nahuel (for what he scored against Getafe) and Barrene (for the goal he scored against Real Sociedad). The Real Madrid player is winning with almost 59% of the votes.
